The Friends of Bude Sea Pool have over 100 volunteers who all give their time for free to help keep Bude Sea Pool open for business.
Volunteers are integral to our society and a vital role within Friends of Bude Sea Pool.
However, there’s much more to being a volunteer than giving back. … Not only is volunteering important because it helps to better your community, it also helps you to feel good about yourself as an individual.
From clearing away pebbles and algae to baking cakes and manning stalls at events, counting coins, giving their expertise free of charge, being members of the Committee, running our social media pages, DIY – there’s a huge range of skills that we are lucky to have among our trusty and hugely-appreciated volunteers.
  • What could you do?

Many people think that being a Bude Sea Pool volunteer only involves back-breaking stone removal in all weathers! That is absolutely critical, but it’s not the only way you could help.

Recently, people have joined us with skills in marketing, social media, project management, DIY and much-needed administrative support – anything you can do is welcome!

You don’t have to make a regular commitment, but if you have a skill that you are happy to share with us, be sure that it will find an outlet with the Friends of Bude Sea Pool volunteers, and we would be very grateful if you would join us!
