For children there will be an Easter Egg hunt around the pool (not in it!)\, and a Scavenger hunt to take part in too.  Everyone can take part in our Easter dressing up competition and/or bring along a fabulous Easter bonnet. Rob McPaddle will be offering paddleboard cruises around the pool on his megasup (lifejackets will be provided).  After all that eggcitement enjoy some soup/hot drinks and cakey heaven served in the hub.

DESCRIPTION:Come and see Ian’s stunning photographic study of our winter swimming community at Bude Sea Pool.  For Ian’s MA work he has made Bude Sea Pool his focus throughout his studies.  He has even joined the winter swimmers in cold dipping himself! Open from 10-6 daily over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.  He will also be offering talks at 11am & 2pm daily.\n\nHere is Ian’s introduction to the images:\n\nThe Sea Pool\, a liminal space between land and sea\, a transitional space between tides\, a place where humanity connects with nature in a space shaped by human activity. Where the going in and the coming out of its swimmers resonates with the ebb and flow of its tidal rhythm. \n‘Winter haven’ investigates the spatial\, physical\, sensory\, social\, and emotional relationships between Bude Sea Pool’s community of swimmers and volunteers sustaining itself through the winter months.

DESCRIPTION:Beginning Sunday 4th February\, Salty Swims CIC is offering Cold Water swimming instruction at Bude Sea Pool. Your coach\, Ange\, is fully qualified as a cold water therapy counsellor and is a highly experienced swimming instructor. For a £40 block booking of 8 weeks\, you will have classes and sessions that cover theory and technique\, some of which is classroom-based in the Hub. A percentage of the booking fee will be donated to FoBSP.

DESCRIPTION:Devised by North Coast Arts\, questions will cover theatre\, film\, TV\, literature\, music\, visual arts etc. It will not be too highbrow so someone on your team will know the answer. It could be you. We will have a multiple choice section and a ‘lowbrow’ section! We need seven teams of four\, and two teams of six to fill the 40 available chairs\, and there’s a prize for the winners. Book early!\nThe quiz starts at 7pm but feel free to arrive early to enjoy wine and nibbles at North Coast Wine Lounge. We will run a cash raffle to support the Friends of Bude Sea Pool
