Life at the Pool has been painted by Rosie – here is a bio about the artist:
‘My name is Rosie Sibley, and I am 21 years old. I am a largely self-taught artist, specialising primarily in gouache, though I occasionally explore other mediums. Having lived my entire life in either North Cornwall or West Devon, I draw much of my inspiration from the local landscape.
While I am not yet a professional artist, I aspire to be and have recently completed several commissions, mainly pet portraits. Growing up near Bude, I have enjoyed the Sea Pool in all weathers over the years. I was recently honoured to be chosen as the artist for the Friends of Bude Sea Pool (FoBSP) annual jigsaw puzzle for 2025, and I was delighted to contribute to this wonderful charity.’
